Pumpkin Robot

 

This October (2015), I built Pumpkin Robot as a quick project with a friend for Halloween. This simple, but cute, robot was made in SolidWorks, laser-cut and -etched out of plywood, spraypainted, and given an Arduino for a brain and some servos to flap its wings. 

 

As can be seen in the video to the right, Pumpkin Robot also has some spooky LED eyes in 3D printed sockets. Next Halloween, we're hoping to have Pumpkin Robot gain some wheels and play some spooky music.
